EXTENSIONS

When moving the packer from one
lateral to another, the lateral grouting plug is retracted in
the Flexible Housing
Extension.
The minimum length of the
Flexible Housing Extension must be determined according
to
the deflated length of the
lateral grouting plug, the size
& model of the lateral packer.

To determine the minimum length
of the Housing Extension, the following formulas can be used:
For 6" lateral packer: LHE=LGP
For lateral packer 8" & larger: LHE= LGP-12”
(LHE: Length of Housing Extension,
LGP: Length of Lateral Grouting Plug)
